Heat treatment: 

after welding, all pipes shall be heat treated at 900 ℃ or higher, and then cooled 

in air or in the cooling chamber of controlled atmosphere furnace. Cold drawn

pipes shall be heat treated at 650 ℃ or higher after the final cold drawing pass.


Surface quality:

the internal and external surfaces of steel pipes shall be free of cracks, scabs,

folds, delaminations, laps and burns. Scribe lines, scratches, weld misalignment,

burns, scale and external burr removal traces are allowed,

and shall not exceed the negative wall thickness deviation.
