This tube is used for gas cylinder. The seamless gas cylinder steel tube is produced by hot rolling(extrusion), cold drawn, cold rolled, according to the Chinese standard GB18248-2000.

 

GB18248-2000, a standard applies to the production of hot rolling, cold drawn or cold rolled seamless steel tube used for gas cylinder.

2.Bending tolerance for seamless gas cylinder pipe:

 Bending tolerance should be no more than 1.5mm/m

 

3. End shape of the gas cylinder tube:

Both ends of the pipe should be cut to a complete end surface perpendicular to the axis, and remove burrs

 

4.Delivery condition for the seamless gas cylinder tube:

Delivery condition for hot rolling tube should be hot rolling, and for cold drawn(cold rolled) tube should be normalized(+NBK) or annealed.

 

5. Ovality and uneven wall thickness

Ovality and uneven wall thickness for the steel tube should be no more than 80% of the OD and the wall thickness.
